AN INVITATION TO JOIN US WITH YOUR RAFFLE QUILTEastcoast Quilters Alliance 3, LLC, is pleased to offer FREE RAFFLE SPACE to quilt guilds and other organizations at A Quilters’ Gathering™ which will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Nashua, New Hampshire, Thursday through Sunday, November 4, 5, 6, and 7, 2010.
If your group is having a quilt raffle as a special fund-raising activity, Eastcoast Quilters Alliance 3, LLC invites you to display your quilt and sell raffle tickets in the conference reception area. We will provide a table and two chairs free of charge. Admission to the show is not included as part of this offer. In return, we require the following:
A Quilters’ Gathering™is open to the public four days --- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 6, 7, 8, & 9. You may reserve space for part or for all of this time. Guilds reserving for all four days may remain in the same spot, but please let us know this is your wish. Otherwise, we may shuffle raffle table spots so as to get more variety in your group’s exposure. Attached is a reservation form. If your organization is interested in raffle space, please return this form as soon as possible. Space is given on a first come, first served basis.
Within a month of our receiving the reservation form, you will be notified as to which days you have been scheduled and given instructions as to set-up times, etc. Your organization must confirm this reservation in writing by OCTOBER 1. In the past it has sometimes happened that after reserving space a group cannot get the manpower to cover its time and simply does not show up. Because we do have groups waiting for raffle space, we ask that you confirm your reservation by the date indicated. We ask for your courtesy in notifying us if you cannot man your reserved table, especially if this occurs very near or during the show.
Please note that this space is only for the sale of quilt raffle tickets. Quilting supplies, books, fabric, and/or any other products may not be sold in this space. You may, of course, have brochures, membership forms, or any other materials promoting your group and its activities. If you have questions, please email or call.
Enclosed is a flyer listing the teachers and special events of this year’s Gathering, all of which can be found on our website www.aquiltersgathering.com. We would very much appreciate your including notice of A Quilters’ Gathering™ in your newsletter calendar. SEND US A COPY OF YOUR NEWSLETTER SHOWING THIS NOTICE AND WE WILL SEND A FREE PASS TO THE SHOW. One free pass will be sent to the guild (please designate to whom it should be sent when sending the copy) for each monthly issue in which notice of A Quilters’ Gathering appears. If you cannot reprint the enclosed flyer in your newsletter, please include the following basic information: Event name, dates, times, and place, and admission fees. Remember, if interested in reserving FREE RAFFLE SPACE at the conference, an early return of the enclosed application is encouraged. We very much enjoy organizations joining us with their raffle quilts and look forward to hearing from you.
